Já o dolar comercial ,  assim como na sessão anterior, operou no campo negativo durante praticamente todo o intraday e inverteu essa trajetória nos instantes finais de negociação. Contudo, diferentemente da véspera, quando fechou com modesta alta de 0,11%, a divisa norte-americana encerrou esta terça-feira com valorização mais expressiva. Dessa forma a moeda norte-americana fechou cotada a R$ 1,7800  representando uma alta de 0,45% em relação ao fechamento anterior.  No mes a desvalorização acumulada é de 2,14% e no ano a valorização acumulada é de 2,34%.
